Michael Shenton
Michael Shenton (born 22 July 1986 in Pontefract, West Yorkshire), is an English professional rugby league footballer currently playing for Castleford Tigers in the Super League. Shenton is the current captain of the club. An England international representative , he previously played for the Castleford Tigers before moving to St. Helens in 2010.
On 7 June 2012, Shenton re-joined the Tigers for the start of the 2013 season with still a year left at St Helens. ==Biography==
Michael Shenton is a product for the Tigers Academy set up, beginning his professional career in 2004. Shenton was a member of the England Elite Training Squad as well, with his Castleford Tigers team mate Joe Westerman. The 2010 Engage Super League season was Shentons last season with his home town club. He signed a 3 year deal with St Helens RLFC on 3 August 2010.〔
